As every one knows, it is often difficult to keep a website bang up to date, as a result of this, we tend to use live media to advertise social and diving events.

Dive trips: The tabulated image shows the dive dates that are in the calendar to date for 2026. If you are interested in any of the dives, then please email your full name, qualification, mobile phone number and dates of dives you want to attend to: divetrips@tynesidebsac.co.uk We need your mobile number so we can add you to the trip WhatsApp group. Social events: We also have a social calendar with lots of events too. These events are  organised through our WhatsApp group, for 2026 (so far) they are as follows:

  • Monday 20th April – Escape Room, Newcastle
  • Thursday 21st May – Put meet, Big Lamp Newburn
  • Sunday 21st June – Italian meal, venue TBC
  • Monday 20th July –  Pub meet, Corner House, Heaton
  • Wednesday 26th August – Pub night, Ravensworth, Lamesley
  • Monday 19th October – Ten Pin Bowling

As events are organised they will be posted up here so do come back and have a look from time to time. We are hoping to have a social type event each month to make up for no longer having our weekly pool and pub sessions.  

It is worth noting that here in the north east there are a number of BSAC clubs, serving the Newcastle and Durham area. In line with the ethos of BSAC, we work closely with the other clubs. Their divers come on our trips and we join their trips. Where possible we also invite all BSAC local members to our social events, e.g. Gun Rocks Evening, Dive Kit sale etc. And where numbers are beneficial, we also combine training needs. We also welcome divers from other agencies who would like to come and join us too. 🙂
