No real excuse was needed for another club social night out at the Fujiyama Japanese restaurant in Newcastle.
Organised by Jane Egglestone, the assembled party opted for the set buffet menu. Seated around the metal ‘cooking table’ we were entertained by the antics of our host chef…
…with the usual display of dramatic fireballs rising up towards the ceiling!
Eyebrows just about intact we then proceeded to eat our way through the different courses of salmon, steak, prawns, and egg fried rice etc.
We were then entertained by Rosie and Hubert as they rose to the challenge of catching flipped eggs in a chef’s hat without covering the rest of the party with raw egg!
Another fun evening was had by all.
